Square Enix has announced the launch date for their upcoming beta for Hitman which is expected to hit PlayStation 4 and PC early next year.

The Hitman beta will be a separate story from the main game, throwing players twenty years in the past at a top-secret ICA recruitment and training facility. It acts as a prequel to the main game which launches on March 11, 2016.

It’ll tell players the story of how Agent 47 was recruited into the ICA and shows how Agent 47 was introduced into his long-time handler, Diana Burnwood.

Beginning first on PlayStation, players can enter the beta on February 12. PC players will then get the Beta a week later on February 19. Players who pre-order Hitman will get guaranteed access to the beta.

There’s currently no word on an Xbox One version of the beta.
