In May of 2014, Harmonix launched a Kickstarter campaign to reboot their famous Rhythm Action Game, Amplitude. After a raucously successful campaign, the game was set to launch in March of 2015, but was soon delayed until Summer ’15, at the behest of many a backer and fan.
However, Harmonix today released a more concrete date of January 5th 2016 for PS4 players, and December 23rd for $40 and up backers. Unfortunately, the developer mentioned the PS3 version still had no official release dates.
In addition to the release date, Hamronix has also released Amplitude’s full track list, which includes over 30 songs from the likes of “Darren Korb (Transistor), C418 (Minecraft), Insomniac Games, and Freezepop, as well as songs from Kickstarter backers, and music crafted by Harmonix’s talented in-house composers,” detailed in their most recent Kickstater update. You can find the full list there as well.
If you can’t wait to play the game, and are headed to PSX this year, you’ll be one of the lucky few to play, get exclusive in game content, and other bonuses.
