Huawei’s Honor brand could be coming to the US as soon as this January. Also the company has just announced its latest Honor 7, could we see this device released in the US very soon?

Until now, the Honor series has been every popular in China but now it could be expanding its markets. Android Authority says that Huawei’s CEO George Zhao is “teasing” about making an announcement in the Consumer Electronics Show in January.

The company has also announced its new Honor 7 Enhanced Edition. It’s available now in China and should be one of the first devices in the new US range so we can expect it to be available there soon. Its specs make it a very compelling option.

The 7 has a 5.2-inch screen at 1080p resolution, an octa-core 2.2GHz processor with 3GB of RAM. Its back camera is 20MP and its front is 8MP. There’s also 32GB of storage, 3100 mAh battery and Android 6.0 with Huawei’s custom skin.

The device costs 1,999 Yuan (about $310). If Huawei does expand to the US, we’ll have to wait and see if it’s the equivalent price.
