tinyBuild has this week launched the long-awaited Dungelot: Shattered Lands on iOS and has already been given Apple’s Editor’s Choice feature on the App Store, however, if you’d rather click than tap, the PC version of the game is set to launch reaaaaallly soon.
The third instalment into the Dungelot series is set to return to its premium roots, there’s no free-to-play garbage here, you pay for the game, you play it, you get happy. Simple.
For those unfamiliar with the series, Dungelot became pretty damn popular and a cult classic amongst fans of roguelikes and dungeon crawlers. The game takes on a fairly simplistic approach however. Rather than exploring dungeons by running around like a headless chicken, Dungelot is more calculated as players take on a minesweeper-like stage, picking off squares one by one until they find the master key to enter the next stage.
It’s not that simple though, as aside from bundles of loot, there’s an abundance of enemies each with their own unique attributes, not to mention the udderly crazy boss levels…
Anyway, Dungelot: Shattered Lands is now available on iOS and will be launching on Steam on February 5.
