Though on March 11 you won’t be getting the full Hitman game now Io Interactive has confirmed that it is indeed an episodic game. You can splash $140 on a Collector’s Edition, to fully prepare you for the “experience” of having half a game until the full thing is released near the end of the year.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not not a fan of the way Io Interactive is releasing the Hitman game, I don’t really mind that content will slowly be launched throughout the year, from what I’ve heard that’ll work in the game’s favour as players will return to the game periodically. What I’m annoyed about is the convoluted way they’ve gone about its release. But that’s another story.

The Collector’s Edition is actually a pretty neat edition for what you get inside. Priced at $139.99 you’ll get:

• Hitman Digital Game Download (Full Experience)
• 10” Agent 47 “Chessmaster” Statue
• Hardcover 60-page art book, curated by Art Director, Jonathan Rowe
• Agent 47 Iconic red tie and clip set
• Premium Collector’s Edition packaging (aka the box)

The statue alone would be enough for me to grab this, I mean, imagine having a little Agent 47 just sitting across from you, in his armchair, giving you that look. He’s all like “slack off again, and you’ll have my little silver friend to answer to.” Hell, It’d keep me on my toes.

Plus, everyone needs a fancy tie to wear on evening’s out, even if you do look like a balding assassin.

You can pre-order the Collector’s Edition from the Square Enix store for $139.99 / €139.99 / £109.99 or your regional equivalent.
