Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios has today unveiled a brand new mode coming to Homefront: The Revolution, and mode that’ll have players join three friends on a series of missions. This new co-operative mode is called Resitance Mode and adds an impressive 12 missions on top of an already robust campaign.
Homefront: The Revolution’s Resistance Mode has players and three friends come together to create a Resistance Cell to take on the military. There’s set to be a series of narrative missions to get through in this mode, with players having the ability to customise their own roster of Fighters with skills, weaponry, and more.
Initially, Resistance Mode will have 12 missions to take on, but Dambuster Studios is set to add more once the game has launched.
“In addition to our epic 30-plus hour single-player campaign, we expect to launch Resistance Mode with 12 Missions, packed with re-playability, and hope to release another 20 Missions within the first year,” says Dambusters game director Hasit Zala. “To ensure our community can always play together, all Resistance Mode Missions will be free to download.”
In addition, Deep Silver has also announced a Revolutionary Sprint pack which will act as a pre-order bonus for all who pre-order the game before May 16 in the US and May 20 everywhere else. The pack will include a number of unique skins, a motorbike, a number of weapons, and much more.
The game will be getting an exclusive closed beta on Xbox One from February 11 – 14, so keep an eye out for that one as it’ll be your chance to play the Resistance Mode before launch.
In order to secure a place in the beta, you’re best chance is to register on the official Homefront website and will automatically enroll you for a chance to get a Beta Token. Registered members may also be invited to a special Closed Beta Stress Test which will take place on Friday, January 29 and Friday February 5 on Xbox One.
