It looks like LG has something exciting up its sleeves, so exciting that the company has sent out invitations to its event at the Mobile World Congress, which doesn’t begin until late February.
Yup, with the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) coming to a close, LG is already getting ready for the Mobile World Congress in February. Making sure press are also prepared, LG has sent out an invitation to its event which will be held on Sunday, February 21.
Although no details were revealed, the invitation itself has us all guessing as it features a colourful Jack-in-the-Box with the worlds “play begins” over the top. Now, what this could mean is anyone’s guess. Though chances are we could be seeing a high-end device with a focus on gaming, or LG is teasing the name of its new range of handsets? LG Play, maybe?
Alternatively, LG could be set to unveil their own entertainment or music streaming service exclusive to LG products? We could be here all day speculating.
Last year, LG debuted the LG G Flex 2, so unveiling a pretty top-notch handset at the event isn’t unusual, though it probably won’t be another Flex handset, if rumours are to be believed.
The Mobile World Congress is set to take place on February 22-25, though most major announcements will likely come the Sunday before.
