I’m sure you’ve all heard of a little animated show called Futurama, right? Well if not, what about The Simpsons? Got it? Good. That means you’ve probably also heard of one of its its creators, Matt Groening? And finally, what about one of the most popular entertainment streaming services, Netflix? Know where I’m going with this yet?

No, The Simpsons aren’t coming to Netflix, don’t be daft. Matt Groening however, is. Netflix is teaming up with Groening for a new animated series exclusive to the streaming service. Unfortunately details are pretty thin on the ground right now, but it’s most likely not going to have anything to do with either The Simpsons or Futurama as they’re both owned by Fox.

This is just one of many ways Netflix is expanding on its animated series portfolio, which includes shows like Bojack Horseman, F Is For Family, and a new Dr. Seuss series, Green Eggs and Ham.

Whether we can expect a series like The Simpsons and Futurama is entirely possible. Unfortunately we have no idea what to expect or when to expect it.
