The Witness, the upcoming surreal puzzle game from Jonathan Blow, is set to land on PlayStation 4 and PC, but it could also be coming to Xbox One if this ESRB rating is anything to go by.
In development since 2008, The Witness’ release has been long overdue. Fortunately later this month we’re going to see the fruits of Blow’s labour, though only if you have a PC or a PlayStation 4. At least, that’s what’s been officially announced so far. But it very well could be coming to Xbox One.
According to the ESRB, the European ratings board, it’ll be launching on Xbox One too, though we have no release indication. Of course, this is likely to do with Microsoft’s dodgy exclusivity deals, or whatever, but aside from an official confirmation from either Microsoft or developers Thekla, Inc. this is about as concrete as it’ll get.
Reviews for The Witness are set to drop at some point next week.
The Witness launches officially on PlayStation 4 and PC on January 26.
