Following rumours that a number of executives have left Twitter, CEO Jack Dorsey took to the microblogging site to confirm the news and clear up some of the false rumours around the news.
In a tweet, Dorsey posted a picture of text to confirm that Alex Roetter, Skip Schipper, Katie Stanton, and Kevin Weil, key members of Twitter’s various divisions, have all departed the site.

Dorsey revealed that COO Adam Bain and CTO Adam Messinger will be taking on additional responsibilities in the mean time. Bain will oversee the “revenue-related product teams, the media team, and the HR team on an interim basis.” While Messinger will be “taking over all of engineering and consumer product, design and research, user services, and Fabric” merging them into one group.
In addition to the above, another Twitter member, GM of Vine, Jason Toff, announced his departure over the weeked revealing he’ll be working over at Google on VR.
Personal update! I'm joining Google to work on VR. So much exciting potential there.

Unfortunately Twitter has been restructuring its staff since October last year where the first layoffs of around 8% of staff were confirmed. We’re likely to see more shifts in the near future.
