Developed by Ni No Kuni and Professor Layton studio Level-5, Yo-Kai Watch has become a smash hit title in Japan with it’s mix of monster battling and role-playing mechanics. Having already been released in Japan back in 2013 to a solid market success, the sequel was always a run away success with a few million units sold. Now Europe will finally get hands on with the long awaited title and see what all the fuss is about.
Along with the release of the game Europe can also look forward to the full Yo-Kai Watch anime that will be released in English along with a host of toys and other Yo-Kai Watch themed items.
Many will surely link Yo-Kai Watch to Pokemon as players take up the role of a boy who has the ability to see and talk to Yo-kai. With the goal of trying to stop them from terrorising the city and at the same time capture all of the Yo-Kai that he can.
A few members of the n3rdabl3 team have been looking forward to Yo-Kai Watch for sometime now so this news is very exciting. Roll on 29th April.
