Now The Witcher developer is well and truly elbow-deep in the development of their upcoming adventure game, Cyberpunk 2077, it’s time to get that hype train rolling. It looks like we’re definitely off to a rolling start too as the developers have revealed that the upcoming dystopian adventure will be “much greater” than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
During the developers financial report, President Adam Kiciński and Studio Head Adam Badowski couldn’t quite contain their excitement for the upcoming title and revealed a few vague points about the upcoming game which is set to land on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2017.
What we learn from the call is that we’re “a long ways away from the premiere,” and that because The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has set the bar high in terms of success, Cyberpunk 2077 as to be “even better, even bigger, even more revolutionary” than they first intended. He also added that they’ve got “a lot of work to do” and want to make the game a “truly outstanding game.”
They also added that Cyberpunk 2077 will be a “huge game” with a magnitude “much greater” than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and the studio overall has “amazingly large ambitions” for the game.
Now, considering The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt had over 100 hours of content before the game’s DLC launched, we can expect even more from Cyberpunk 2077, here’s hoping the game’s hype amounts to something awesome and not a colossal failure.
