Bandai Namco has this week revealed the release date for the next instalment into the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven.
The new game, which is set to see the return of DIO hell-bent on destroying the Joestar family, will launch on PlayStation 4 this July 1.
As you’d expect, the game takes a similar brawler approach as previous games in the series with a story that follows on from the last game. Players will be once again facing DIO and will find themselves in various locations such as Tokyo and Cairo.
Fights will take place in locations such as Dream Amusement park and the City of Cairo from Stardust Crusaders, the third arc of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime and manga.
A number of characters have also been confirmed for the roster such as Jotaro Kujo, Joseph Joestar, Mohammed Avdol, Noriaki Kakyoin, Jean Pierre and Iggy. Fighting on the side of DIO will be Hol Horse, Cool Ice, N’Doul, Mariah and Animal Shop. Each side will also have their own supernatural power called The Stand.
Te game is also set to come with a number of additions such as fully interactive stages allowing players to throw objects at opponents, as well as triggering special events through items or actions, traps can also be installed across stages.
