Periscope has announced three new additional features to the popular live streaming service that’ll be coming to all users in the next few weeks, one of which will be killer for drone enthusiasts.
Three pretty big features are heading to Periscope in the next few weeks such as the ability to search for live broadcasts, both live and replays, by topic or title, from within the global list. Initially the search will be pre-populated with topics such as #Food #Travel #Music, and more.
Following on from the recent announcement of the #save feature which allows users to choose whether to save their broadcast, that feature will be replaced by a more full solution that’ll auto-save by default. Users can then set their broadcasts to auto-delete after 24 hours if they choose.
Finally, the biggest update is the DJI Drone Integration that’ll allow DJI drone users to live-stream footage from their drones, switching from their phone camera to their GoPro and drone, and back. They can also sketch over the broadcast too.
These updates are being gradually rolled out and will be available to all users in the coming weeks.
