Today Motorola has announced two brand new phones in its cut-price Moto G range, the Moto G4, and Moto G4 Plus, set to launch here in the UK in June.
The new Moto G is the latest device in the Moto G line that precedes the Moto G4 which launched last year. The device is the fourth-generation Moto G4 and offers a thinner design overall. It also offers a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a 13 megapixel camera. It’ll also come with a 3,000 mAh battery and an octa-core processor.
It’ll also come with TurboPower charging giving users 6 hours of power in just 15 minutes.
The Moto G will be available on the Moto Maker so users can create their own individual style, alternatively custom shells can also be purchased.
As for the Moto G Plus, as you’d expect it comes with some added extras over the Moto G, but not what you’d expect. This new device comes with a much better camera at 16 megapixels, with two additional rapid focus technologies; laser focus and phase detect autofocus.
The Moto G Plus also comes with a fingerprint sensor, something found on more expensive devices.
Pricing and availability for these devices are to be announced in due time.
Updated: Motorola has since clarified the name of the new devices as well as releasing new pictures. The post has been updated to include those.
