It looks like EA Games are sticking to their promise of no-longer releasing a new Need for Speed game annually as they’ve revealed that a new Need for Speed title would be coming in 2017.
Ghost Games is working on a new Need for Speed, EA Games has announced, which they plan to release next year. Until then, the current Need for Speed title will continue to be supported with Speedlists, a series of new Multiplayer playlists, and more, though this will be the last free content update for the game.
In addition, a new Community Event kicks off this weekend offering $1,000 in-game credits from all Drag Events.
EA Games is also celebrating the current title with an infographic which reveals a ton of details about the game and its players, such as players have collectively achieved over 9.8 billion REP points, have taken part in over 10 million Drag Races, and have earned close to $2.5 trillion in-game cash.
