It has been announced that Capcom will release the next game in the Ace Attorney franchise this coming September.
Titled Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice, which was formerly known as Ace Attorney 6, will be a 3DS exclusive when it releases in September for North America and Europe.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice is set in a new mystical Kingdom of Khura’in, a land without lawyers where justice is decided through the use of mystic ‘seance trails’. Wright’s main adversary this time around will be the kingdom’s Royal Priestess, Rayfa Padma Khura’in. Being a spirit medium, she’s able to summon up the victim’s final memories so Wright will have to find the contradictions in these visions. Thankfully though, Apollo Justice will be on hand to help Wright out during his adventure.
The downside to this however is that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice will only be avaiable via download from the Nintendo eShop. The game will cost £24.99 / €29.99 / $29.99. This marks yet another title in the series that won’t be getting a boxed release which is a shame for fans of the series both new and old. Regardless, it is good to be getting a new title and make sure to check out the above trailer.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice will be available in September for Nintendo 3DS via the eShop.
