The latest game from Borderlands developer Gearbox Software has launched itself into first place this week. Battleborn scores the UK number one in the gaming charts this week becoming the first number one for Take 2 in over a year.

As we enter the summer sales slump there’s little in the way of new releases this week, so Battleborn really didn’t have a lot to face up against. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 remains in the second spot this week as last week’s chart topper, Ratchet & Clank falls down to third place.

Grand Theft Auto V is still going strong as it climbs to fourth place, pushing The Division down to fifth. This does mean that The Division has remained in the top five for nine weeks now, however.

A few days ahead of the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection renters the top 40 in twenty-second place.

Here’s the full rundown:

  1. Battleborn
  2. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
  3. Ratchet & Clank
  4. Grand Theft Auto V
  5. Tom Clancy’s The Division
  6. Far Cry Primal
