The final DLC drop for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt doesn’t officially have a release date yet, but according to a slip-up, the Steam page for the DLC may have revealed the release date ahead of an official announcement.
According to the Steam page, which went live this weekend before quickly being taken down, revealed that the second and final DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt could launch on May 30.
The information has yet to be confirmed by CD Projekt RED and the screenshot itself could be a photoshop job. Even if legitimate, the fact that the page has since been pulled could mean that it’s not a final release for the DLC.
The only official release date we have from CD PR is “first half of 2016” and the publisher has also started talking a lot about the DLC in the past few weeks, so this release date could indeed be true. They’ve also released the cover art for the DLC as well as revealing that it’s as bit as the Skellige arc, plus it’ll launch before E3, which is in June.
The DLC is set to be the end to the story of Geralt of Rivia, so chances are it’s a big one that we’re building towards.
