2K Games has revealed another one of the many new changes coming to the Civilization series in Civilization 6, this time it’s the way cities will work in the new title.
In Civilization 6 a number of new improvements as well as new additions will be coming to the game. One of those new improvements is how cities will work within the game. In a brand new trailer called “Unstacking Cities”, Firaxis Games explains how coties will now be expanded with districts.
These Districts can be specialised for specific tasks such as education, for example. In this particular example, the Education District will develop areas such as libraries, universities, and research labs, provided the player’s civilisation makes the right discoveries.
Some civilisations will offer unique districts that no other civilisations can construct, and Districts themselves can earn bonuses based on smart placement, some however require certain surrounding conditions to be placed.
