It looks like Blizzard is going to make a new Diablo game according to a job listing the company has recently posted.
Spotted on the studio’s job vacancy page, there’s a listing for a new game director to “lead the Diablo series into the future.”
Of course, following the launch of Diablo 3, which was rocky – to say the least, director Jay Wilson stepped down from his role behind the title, only to then leave the video game industry all together.
“Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a game director with outstanding communications skills, proven experience in creative direction, strongability in system design, and a stellar track record of shipping AAA games to lead the Diablo series into the future,” the listing said.
The launch of Diablo 3 was plagued with server troubles as well as controversy surrounding the game’s auction house system of micro-transactions. Fortunately since its launch the game has become pretty sold, though it took over a year and a console release in order to get to that point.
