At the Star Wars Celebration Europe at the ExCeL London Exhibition Centre this weekend, EA Games unveiled a handful of new editions set to come to its Star Wars first person shooter, Star Wars Battlefront.
The company unveiled the game’s next DLC expansion that’s set to focus on the Death Star and with it comes two new playable characters, Chewbacca and Bossk. A brand new teaser trailer for the DLC was also released.
In addition to the Death Star DLC, EA Games also confirmed that another expansion would follow, this time based around the upcoming Rogue One movie. The title of the DLC is Rogue One: Scarif. Scarif is the tropical planet that is one of the main locations in the Rogue One movie. No other details have been released about this expansion just yet.
Finally, it has also been revealed that next week players will be able to get their hands on the Trials of Tatooine VR experience, completely free. Players take the role of a Padawan who’s looking to join the Jedi Order and will have the ability to wield a lightsaber! Trials of Tatooine is set to launch on July 18.
