Klei Entertainment’s Don’t Starve: Shipwrecked is set to land on PlayStation 4 on August 2, the developer has announced.
Don’t Starve: Shipwrecked could be considered a sequel to Klei Entertainment’s survival sim, Don’t Starve, but in reality, it’s just another extension to an already fantastic title.
This time, rather than trying to survive the weird and wonderful wilderness of Wilson’s nightmares, he decided to embark on a nautical journey with one mission… to not starve, shipwrecked at sea.
The sea fairing expansion is set to launch on PlayStation 4 on August 2 and will come with a 10 percent discount. This release date comes after a pretty lengthy delay, as the game was set to launch this spring.
Much like the standard Don’t Starve, Shipwrecked will have players trying not to die, however, this time they’ll be sailing around coming across all sorts of deadly creatures, such as the Quacken. Players will also discover new biomes, different food to cook, and much more.
In addition to Shipwrecked, Klei Entertainment is currently working on the PlayStation 4 version of Don’t Starve Together, a multiplayer version of the hit survival game. It’s currently in closed beta, with a release hopefully set for later this year.
