Square Enix has today announced the release date for Dragon Quest Builders here in Europe, along with the game’s Day-One Edition that’ll bag players some in-game recipes and more.
Dragon Quest Builders has been available in Japan for some time now, and while we knew the game would eventually come to the west, we didn’t know for sure when the game would arrive. With this week’s announcement, however, we’ll be having a pretty fun-filled Autumn as the game will be launching in Europe on October 14.
Players who pre-order the game will grab the Day-One Edition that’ll give players a selection of in-game items and recipes that’ll allow them to create more materials fort use in the game’s Free Build mode:
- Springtide Sprinkles Recipe – Transform trees into festive Cherry Blossom Trees and soil into comfortable Straw Floor Blocks
- Slimy Blocks Recipe – Craft delightful blocks adorned with cute blue Slimes
- Gold Blocks Recipe – Show off your opulent side with blocks made of pure gold
The game’s Minecraft-like look is only the surface of what the game can offer as players are free to build a variety of tools from materials they gather, then rebuild towns and cities to restore life into the shattered world of Alefgard.
Explore with the freedom of sandbox gameplay, combined with an immersive and charming DRAGON QUEST® story – battling with iconic DRAGON QUEST monsters and interacting with gorgeously designed 3D characters along the way. With an intuitive control system, DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS will have you building the towers and castles of your dreams in no time!
Dragon Quest Builders will arrive in Europe and PAL territories in October 14, 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
