First Batch of Screenshots Arrive for Dead Rising Remasters

Capcom finally confirmed last week that remasters of its debut Dead Rising game as well as its sequel, would be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Although we don’t know when, we know who’ll be behind the game as well as what they’ll look like.

Earlier this week the Xbox Store Listings for Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2, and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record were published offering a glimpse at the three games through a handful of screenshots.

The listings also revealed who’ll be bringing the games to modern consoles and PC. According to the listings, the original Dead Rising will be ported to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC by QLOC, the same company who handled the DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition for PS4 and Xbox One.

As for Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, they’ll be remastered by Mercenary Technologies, the developer behind the PS4 version of God of War 3 and the PC version of Resident Evil 5.

Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2, and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record don’t have a release date yet, but a recent listing suggested the games would be coming in September, though Capcom were quick to take them down and brush it off.
