During a panel at Comic-Con this week, Nickelodeon have given fans a first look at character art from the upcoming Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie, flick as well as revealing when exactly we’ll be able to see the new feature-length movie.
A handful of character art has been revealed showing the show’s main characters which include Arnold (of course) Gerald, Helga, Phoebe, and of course, Grandpa. There’ll also be an appearance from Abner, Arnold’s pet pig.
Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie will be a two hour “telepic” and will air on Thanksgiving in 2017. It’ll also answer the series-long question of what exactly happened to Arnold’s parents.
Some of the series’ original voice actors will be returning with Francesca Marie Smith as Helga, Anndi McAfee as Phoebe, Justin Shenkarow as Harold, Olivia Hack as Rhonda, Nika Futterman as Olga and Dan Butler as Mr. Simmons.
As for Arnold and Gerald, they’ll be receiving new voices in the upcoming movie, with Arnold and Gerald being voiced by Mason Vale Cotton and Benjamin “Lil’ P-Nut” Flores Jr., respectively. The original voice actors, Lane Toran, and Jamil Smith will lend their voices to several other roles.
