As Niantic’s Pokémon Go launches in Spain, Italy, and Portugal, the company is now allowing users to submit new locations for PokéStops and Pokémon Gyms. So if you’re looking to have your house become a PokéStop so you can have the Pokémon come to you, then now’s your chance.
Now Pokémon Go is launching slowly across the world, many are finding that their areas are a little crappy when it comes to Pokémon Go landmarks. Fortunately it’s looking like Niantic could do with the help and has opened up submissions (temporarily) for PokéStops and other landmarks in your area.
In order to suggest some locations, all you have to do is head to the Pokémon Go support page and submit your request. Of course, there’s no guarantee that you’ll actually have your desired location become a PokéStop or Gym, but it’s worth a try, right?
Unfortunately for those of you wanting your home to become a PokéStop, Niantic is drawing the line there, and once again due to the sheer amount of requests, requests sent via this form will be passed “along to our business development team and if they are interested they will follow up directly.”
You can also use this submission form to report any incorrect stops, as well as ask whether you can change your username, among other things.
