Pool Nation VR might as well start calling itself Pub Nation VR at this point as developers Cherry Pop Games and Perilous Orbit have announced that the game will not only be getting a classic addition to its ever-growing repertoire of virtual pub games with Air Hockey, but also official support for a number of darts modes. Oh! And more hats for your floating Vive headset avatar.
As you can see from the video above the update does exactly what it sets out to, adding an Air Hockey table complete with paddles and puck that players can use to either play a round of Air Hockey between Pool matches or cause absolute mayhem by throwing said equipment all over the place, whatever comes first.
In addition to the Air Hockey table, Pool Nation VR will now officially offer a number of different darts modes, including 101, 301, 501, Cricket and a Freeplay mode. I must admit, I’d be lying if I said the names of those modes meant anything to me personally, but I’m sure there’s lots of you out there who knows what they are.
Pool Nation VR can be purchased from Steam. An HTC Vive headset and two controllers are required for play.
