Update: The listing for Rise of the Tomb Raider on PlayStation 4 actually has an October 11 release date, not November 11 as previously written.
Original Article: Rise of the Tomb Raider launched late last year on Xbox as part of an exclusivity deal between Square Enix and Microsoft. The game has since launched on PC, and if this new slip-up is to be believed, will be launching this November on PS4.
Initially spotted by NeoGAF user, piccolo_ssl, the Italian GameStop site lists Rise of the Tomb Raider with a release date of November 10. The listing also shows the game as a full-price title.
This is a more likely release date compared to Amazon’s December 30, 2016 release date, which is likely just a placeholder until a date is officially announced.
Rise of the Tomb Raider launched on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10 last year, so it’d make sense that the year-long exclusivity period lasts until then. Though with this release date being a Thursday, it’s not looking too likely.
Traditionally, games are released in North America on Tuesday, followed by an European release on Wednesday, then Friday here in the UK. So this could just be a placeholder date too. Though we could expect a November 8 or 15 release date for the game.
