Warner Bros. and TT Games’ LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens clings onto the top spot for the third week in a row this week, though it’s hardly surprising considering there’s little in the way of new releases this week.
According to Chart-Track, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is doing pretty well for itself as the only other LEGO title to spend more consecutive weeks at number one is LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes which managed to cling into the top spot for five weeks back in 2012.
This week’s charts is actually pretty interesting as retailer promotions have brought a ton of previous chart toppers back in the top 10. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End being one of those, landing in second place this week.
The highest new entry this week is Monster Hunter Generations, which debuts in third place, followed by Overwatch, Grand Theft Auto V, and Doom in fourth, fifth, and sixth place, respectively.
Fallout 4 once again enters the top ten from twentieth place thanks to retailer promotions, and in eleventh and twelfth place, Zoo Tycoon and Kinect Sports Rivals some how manage to climb back into the top fourty thanks to hardware bundles for the Xbox One going on sale.
