Better get set for more minute-long roars and insanely over-the-top airborne battles because Bandai Namco have unveiled some more Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 details, including the new and returning multiplayer modes as well as a new character.
On the new character front, Bandai Namco announced that Vegeta’s darkest side, Majin Vegeta, will make a return to the video gaming world in Xenoverse 2.
Bandai Namco also revealed a lot about the expansions to the game’s online features. Once again players will be able to face one another using their custom characters in both ranked and unranked battles, but players will also be able to engage in endless battles as well as having the option of using “zero-stat” characters to take each other on with pure fighting skill.
There’s also the new 6v1 Expert Mission Mode, where a team of six players will take on one incredibly powerful NPC boss in a particularly insane fight which might see players sent to a different dimension to take on sub-challenges before returning to the fight.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is also set to boast double the number of quests compared to the first Xenoverse title as well as a new rare drop system that will let players hunt for their favourite outfits and accessories. Here’s hoping it’s all the Dragon Ball madness one could ask for and more.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 28th. European players might want to stay tuned, as Bandai Namco will be releasing details of an upcoming open beta soon.
