Good news racing fans, Microsoft and Turn 10’s upcoming racer, Forza Horizon 3, has finally gone gold meaning it’s ready to be packed up and shipped. To celebrate, Microsoft has unveiled a brand new vehicle coming to the game, Halo’s Warthog, as well as the recommended PC specs.
Later this year, Forza Horizon 3 players will be heading down under as the Horizon Festival finds its home this year in Australia. This year is actually a pretty big one for the Forza series as a whole, as Horizon 3 will be the first proper Forza release to also come to Windows 10, and will be the first Play Anywhere title meaning Xbox One players can also grab the Windows 10 version for free, and vice-versa.
Now that the game has gone gold, all we have to do now is wait. While we do that, it’s a good idea to check whether your PC meets the recommended specifications needed to run the game.
Here they are:
CPU: i7 3820 @ 3.6GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 970 or NVIDIA GTX 1060
AMD R9 290X or AMD RX 480
Available Space: 55 GB
Resolution 1920 x 1080
Windows Version Windows Anniversary Edition 64-bit 14393.101
That’s some pretty beefy expectations, though given how pretty these games look, it’s hardly surprising.
In addition to the specs, those who have previously played Halo 5 or Halo: The Master Chief Collection, will also be rewarded with an in-game Warthog, you can check it out in the image above, and the new trailer below:
Microsoft also revealed the achievements for the game, which can be found here.
Forza Horizon 3 launches on Xbox One and Windows 10 on September 27.
