Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is set to debut on November 4th, but there’s an apple hanging from the Infinite Warfare tree that I don’t think it’d be too scandalous to say people are a fair bit more interested in.
That apple is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, a next-gen update of 2007’s incredibly well received Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, considered by most to be the brilliantly crafted spark whose incredible success (combined with the greater success of Modern Warfare 2) ended up making modern military shooters the go-to FPS of the seventh generation of consoles.
Everyone who pre-orders the Legacy or Digital Deluxe editions of Infinite Warfare will receive Modern Warfare Remastered alongside the main game, but PS4 players will get access to Modern Warfare Remastered’s campaign mode thirty days early on October 5th.
To mark the steadily approaching occasion, Activision have released a new trailer showing off some of the key scenes from said campaign, all rendered in gorgeous remastered HD.
I must say, it’s incredibly cool seeing some of Modern Warfare’s most famous sequences get a big graphical upgrade, including that one scene that shocked everyone back in 2007.
Anyone else looking forward to playing through All Ghillied Up and Mile High Club again?
