Last night during Call of Duty XP, Activision unveiled what’s in store for fans of the game’s multiplayer mode. In a brand new trailer, you’ll get to see the return of classes, as well as some of the more futuristic weapons and tech coming to the game.
I’ll be honest, I’m a little apprehensive about this year’s Call of Duty release, I’ve started to quickly fall out of love with the series, ever since Black Ops 3 was released, and Infinite Warfare is yet to woo me. The game’s multiplayer, however, does look pretty interesting.
Anyway, the new Multiplayer trailer comes along side another announcement, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be getting a multiplayer beta for those who’ve pre-ordered the game. It’ll be launching on October 14 for PlayStation 4. The beta will also be coming to Xbox One for at least three days, but Activision have yet to say when the beta will arrive.
In addition, Activision also revealed that all 16 of the original multiplayer maps will be coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. 10 maps will be available from the start, with the remaining six set to land in December at no additional cost.
Finally, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be receiving a brand new VR game mode exclusive to PlayStation. Jack Assault, exclusive to PS VR, will put fans in the cockpit of a Jackal, the personal fighter jet found within the game.
