This morning I saw the news that the PlayStation VR demo disc will contain 18 games, rather than 8. I was pretty pleased, because that gives players a lot to do before actually purchasing a game, but then I noticed the fine print: The PS VR demo disc in North America will have 18 games.

Over on the US PlayStation Blog, Sony revealed that North American customers will have an additional 10 games to try out when they purchase the PS VR. It’s unclear why the numbers are different between regions.

Here’s what North American PS VR owners will be able to play:

  • Allumette
  • Battlezone
  • DriveClub VR
  • Eve: Valkyrie
  • Gnog
  • Harmonix Music VR
  • Headmaster
  • Here They Lie
  • Job Simulator
  • PlayStation VR Worlds
  • Resident Evil 7 Biohazard – Kitchen Teaser
  • Rez Infinite
  • Rigs Mechanized Combat League
  • Thumper
  • Tumble VR
  • Until Dawn: Rush of Blood
  • Wayward Sky
  • Within

Fortunately, the demo disc will also be available as a free download on the PS Store after the launch of the headset, so those with US PSN accounts located in other regions will also be able to download the additional games.
