Microsoft’s Metroid / Mega Man-like title, ReCore, is launching pretty soon, so to make sure everyone’s aware, here’s a launch trailer.
Following the failure that was Mighty No. 9, many are likely looking for the next big Mega Man title, and while ReCore has nothing to do with the famous franchise, the game kind-of plays like one.
Anyway, developed by Keiji Inafune’s Comcept (ironically, the creators of Mighty No. 9) and Armature Studio, ReCore is a game that’s been on my list since it was first unveiled a few years back.
In ReCore, players take on the role of one of the last remaining humans on a planet controlled by robots. Not every robot wants to be your best friend either, but there are a few who don’t think you’re so bad. It’s these robots that players will forge friendships with, each of which offer unique abilities and powers.
ReCore will be released September 13 in North America and September 16 in Europe as an Xbox Play Anywhere title.
