Those who prefer Terminals over Command Prompts and Apples instead of Windows just got another big-name title to add to their libraries, as Mad Max will be arriving soon.
Feral Interactive have announced that the open-world action game based on the franchise of the same name, has been ported to Mac and Linux.
As you might imagine, you’ll need to be packing a pretty decent rig to get the game running well, including being on the latest or more recent versions of your chosen OS. A full list of Mac/Linux requirements for Mad Max can be found here.
Mad Max released last year to a pretty decent reception – at the time of writing the game currently holds a 90% positive review score on Steam and a 73% Metacritic score, though our very own Nikolai K. wasn’t quite as impressed in his review, claiming that “With poor controls and annoying gameplay systems it’s hard to enjoy the beautiful graphics and brutal combat.”
Mad Max is available now on PC, Linux and Mac through Steam, the Feral Store and the Mac App Store.
