The second expansion DLC for The Division is releasing today for both Xbox One and PC players one month before the PlayStation 4 version.
The Division’s Survival DLC has been talked about for some time now with it recently being added to the PTS not long ago. Survival adds a new 24 players game mode in which players will need to survival against coldness, sickness and even hungry. Stripped of al there gear and given around two hours to get to the Dark Zone and extract. Survival is not for the faith of heart as The Division agents will need to do everything they can to survival.
During a session of Survival, players will have to not only deal with the 24 players across the whole of the Manhattan map, but also the deadly Hunters. These NPCs are the biggest challenges to any agents survival as players need to work together, or alone, to avoid permanent death.
Along with the release of the Survival DLC for The Division, Ubisoft have also revealed the patch notes for the DLC and the 1.5 update. Some key points to take into account from the patch include the new world tier, six new high-end named gear pieces, three high-end named weapons, 12 new weapon types, and much more. Some other points worth noting include the following:
– NPCs now have chances to drop crafting materials. Chances to drop higher quality increases with World Tiers.
– Items in the Scavenger crate in the Base of Operations will now scale with World Tier.
– Modified rewards from completing weekly assignments:
– Vendors will now scale to player’s Gear Score, independently from the World Tier they’re in. This means that the Gear Score and currency value of goods they sell will adapt to the player’s Gear Score.
