Since We Happy Few launched into Early Access earlier this year, the developers have been hard at work adding improvements to the game, however the game’s biggest update is about to arrive that’ll add many improvements and a new area to explore.
The Clockwork Update, as it’s called, and has been in the works for some time now. The last update to hit We Happy Few was around three months ago, so you know this update is going to be big. While the patch notes are pretty lengthy, Compulsion Games has managed to cram most of the major improvements into a lovely new trailer:
The update offers a bunch of new technical systems which are detailed in a blog post, not only that they’ve addressed the disconnect between the beginning of the game and where Arthur ends up, by showing us exactly how he got there.
There’s also some news that may be hard to swallow, in addition to a number of bug fixes, wholesale quest and save system changes mean that previous save games are incompatible. Though it is Early Access and things such as this are to be expected.
