Mega Man Mobile Announcement

The Blue Bomber hasn’t gotten a lot of love from Capcom as of late – the last few major planned titles in the franchise, infamously including Mega Man Legends 3, were unceremoniously cancelled back in 2011 and there hasn’t really been a new Mega Man title since, with titles like Mighty No. 9 doing little to satiate fans’ desire for more games (though here’s hoping 20XX can keep Mega Man X fans happy at least!).

That said, there have been plenty of remasters knocking about, with the Mega Man Anniversary Collection bringing the classic titles onto modern systems. On that note, Capcom have announced today that they will be bringing the first six Mega Man titles to iOS and Android in early January 2017, aiming to “remind long-time fans and introduce newcomers to what made the Blue Bomber such a popular and iconic character”. Each individual game will be priced at $1.99.

Mega Man 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be releasing individually on iOS and Android in January 2017. If you ask me, if you’re going to get one, get Mega Man 2, that’s a classic game right there!
