It’s that time of year again where the big two (or three this year) battle it out for Christmas number one. Yep, I’m talking about the war between shooters and sports, Call of Duty vs. FIFA. This week, it’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s turn on the top spot.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, FIFA 17, Battlefield 1, place your bets as to who’ll be the top game of this year. My bet is on Call of Duty this year thanks, in part, to the Modern Warfare remaster.
With just three charts left, Week 49 of the UK Gaming Charts sees Call of Duty once again reign supreme. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 scored last year’s Christmas Number 1, and Advance Warfare did before that. Could it be a hat trick?
In second and third place, unsurprisingly, are FIFA 17 and Battlefield 1, respectively. Final Fantasy XV which sat in second place last week drops to number four. Surprisingly Dead Rising 4 made waves landing in fifth this week ahead of this week’s only other new release, the highly anticipated and long awaited, The Last Guardian, which falls in seventh place.
The rest of the charts is a familiar affair too as the year comes to an end.
