If you just can’t wait for your Christmas surprises fortunately for you the UK Gaming Charts has one early. Yep, surprise! Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has become this year’s Christmas Number One game.
I mean, is it really a surprise, no it’s not at all. This is actually the seventh time Call of Duty has found itself in the top spot come Christmas, either that or FIFA 17. Although many are saying that the game is dying a slow death due to over saturation, it looks to me like Activision’s shooter is doing pretty well.
As you can expect, the rest of the charts offer no real surprises either with the aforementioned FIFA 17 in second place, and this year’s more preferred shooter, Battlefield 1, sitting firmly in third.
Watch Dogs 2 also takes advantage of the Christmas period as it jumps into fourth place followed by Grand Theft Auto V – surely everyone has a copy of the game by now… In fact, Grand Theft Auto V has been out for 170 weeks according to Chart Track and has been within the top ten for 130 of them. Blimey.
Final Fantasy XV drops down to sixth place followed by The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, followed by Dishonored 2.
