Crystal Dynamics Tomb Raider series has bid farewell to its writer as Rhianna Pratchett moves on to new adventures.
Speaking on Twitter, Rhianna Pratchett annouced that she would be leaving the series behind and moving onto new adventures. Giving her thanks to the developers – Crystal Dynamics and to the community around the games.
So, I'm packing up my climbing axe plus a little venison jerky for the road, and bidding a fond farewell to Lara. Onwards to new adventures!

Though there are rumours of a third game in the series currently in developpment it is unclear if Rhianna Pratchett is working on that. Given the time of her announcement it is possible she has finished her work for the title but on the other hand. She might not be included at all. Time will tell.
In our review of Rise of the Tomb Raider our own Alex Edwards-Wise noted that “The story in Rise of the Tomb Raider is engaging, with fine voice acting, a thrilling plot and a ruthless ‘bad guy’.” Working hand in hand with the voice acting, cutscenes and breaktaking visuals. The story of Rise of the Tomb Raider was an enjoiable one. It is a shame to hear that Rhianna Pratchett is moving on from the series but we wish her all the best.
Rhianna Pratchett is of course known for her work on titles such as the original Mirror’s Edge, Overlord 1 and 2 and most recently Crystal Dynamics Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
