Final Fantasy XV has Shipped 6 Million Copies both Physically and Digitally

Square Enix has today announced that the shipment and digital sales of Final Fantasy XV have exceeded the six million unit mark.

It looks like the wait was definitely worth it as since the anticipated release of Final Fantasy XV back in November, the game has shipped a whopping six million copies both physically and digitally. This follows a record breaking five million sales which the game saw on day-one alone.

Since launch, the game has seen critical success as well as the first of a handful of content updates including the Holiday Pack and Holiday Pack+ which are available to download now. Square Enix also revealed that those who purchased either the free or the premium Holiday Packs will also gain free access to the “Moogle Chocobo Carnival,” an in-game event that’s set to take place on January 24 for a limited time.

Square Enix also revealed that more title updates as well as DLC will be arriving soon and for players to stay tuned for more details.
