Fire Emblem Warriors gets an Extended Trailer

Following its announcement during the Nintendo Switch event, Nintendo went into greater detail about Fire Emblem Warriors during a special direct broadcast last night.

Currently in development by Koei Tecmo and the team behind Hyrule Warriors, Fire Emblem Warriors is a hack-n-slash in the same style. Taking a number of characters from the Fire Emblem world we’ll see players fighting waves of enemies in style. The extended trailer which was unveiled during the Fire Emblem direct also displayed some gameplay from the upcoming title.

If the title is anything like Hyrule Warriors, then players can expect a game with a lot of character that will have some epic moments. Hacking through enemies as your favourite Fire Emblem character sounds like a great time. Though details are still thin we can surely expect to see more soon.

Releasing later this year Fire Emblem Warriors will be releasing for the Nintendo Switch but also on New Nintendo 3DS as well. The latter was revealed during the Fire Emblem Direct.
