Final Fantasy XV will be getting a timed event next week as the beautiful city of Altissia is transformed to celebrate the Moogle Chocobo Carnival.
Coming on January 24, the limited time event will not only transform the city but also include a number of new items, quests and features. In order to access the event players will need to download one of the previously released holiday packs. These include Carnival Passport items which allow entry to the Carnival and more.
As part of the event the recently opened Square Enix Café has been recreated, including the manager and some dishes, within Final Fantasy XV. There will also be a number of different minigames and such available during the event period.
New costumes are also included in this event and some new photo frames. Speaking of which included in the update, and available for everyone, will be the new “selfie-shooting feature”. This will allow players to take pictures freely within the world of Final Fantasy XV so long as they are out of battle.
