Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown no Longer a PS4 Exclusive

Earlier this year Bandia Namco unveiled Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown which was set to come exclusively to the PlayStation 4. However this week the publisher announced that it’d also be landing on Xbox One and PC too.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t played an Ace Combat game since the first game, Air Combat, launched on PlayStation 1 back in the mid-nineties. Not to mention the fact that there hasn’t really been an intense war plane game on consoles for a long time, so I’m pretty pleased to hear that it’s coming to Xbox One too.

Anyway, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will have players once again enter the cockpit of a series of different war planes offering the intense air combat experience players know and love from the series. The game will also utilise Unreal Engine 4 which will surely make the game look incredible.

The game will include a campaign which will see the return of Sunao Katabuchi as the lead writer behind the fictional storyline, as well as a multiplayer mode in which players can test their skills against others, worldwide.

A new extended trailer has also been released which you can see below:
