Child rearing is not very easy and Logan is about to find that out the very hard way…

At the moment, it’s kind of up in the air about how Hugh Jackman’s supposedly final outing as Wolverine will fit into the complex X-Men Movie Universe, though it does look pretty good.

After everyone saw the last trailer, everyone reckoned the mysterious little girl was actually a clone of Logan, who is known as X-23. People who stayed after the credits for X-Men Apocalypse would’ve seen how X-23 came to life.

My favourite parts of the trailer you say? Well, seeing little girl Logan in action is pretty cool. It’s sort of like seeing Hit-Girl from Kick-Ass with knives in her hands.

My second favourite part? How X-Men comics exists in the X-Men universe… Maybe it’s some back door to setting a shared universe with the MCU?

I mean, maybe in the next X-Men movie, we’ll get to see Cyclops or Nightcrawler reading a bunch of X-Men comics and then flicking through a Spider-man or Avengers one?

When we look at the story… Let’s have a look at the official synopsis:

“In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.”

So basically, since this is loosely based on the famous Mark Millar written Old Man Logan, where Wolverine comes out self-imposed exile in a dark future where the villains have won and Logan was tricked in killing the X-Men.

Logan is in exile, X-23 finds him, Mr. Sinster and his goons come after him, It’ll probably be rather violent. Though apparently Mr. Sinister isn’t going to make an appearance?
