Wired Productions has this week announced a worldwide publishing agreement with LKA.it to bring a new updated version of its psychological adventure game, The Town of Light to consoles and PC later this year.
The Town of Light will be coming to retail for the first time for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Q2 2017 along side an improved PC version. The release will offer new, story-supporting content as well as a bunch of enhancements to the original release. This includes new puzzles, additional story elements, reworked voiceover dialogue, more interactive elements, and much more.
The game will also see a huge graphical and UI overhaul set to offer a much more polished and immersive experience.
The Town of Light, based on extensive research and is inspired by real facts, will have players take the role of Renée, a 16-year-old girl who suffers from symptoms of a mental illness. In the game players will search for answers to questions from her past, while they explore the place in which she spent most of her childhood.
“We followed the progress of The Town of Light since its first showcase in 2014, and we are really excited to work with Luca and his team to bring this very special experience to console,” said Leo Zullo, Managing Director at Wired Productions. “The merging of real events and places with a powerful and an often uncomfortable storyline makes for a compelling combination.”
The Town of Light is set to land on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and be updated on PC in Q2 2017.
