Resident Evil 7 is here, and so far it looks as though Capcom’s commitment to return the series to pure horror has paid off – early reviews have scored the game very highly indeed, with our own Paul Kelly taking some issues with the later parts of the game but enjoying the experience overall.
Unfortunately, the release of the game also coincides with the closure of Resident Evil 7: The Experience, the 45 minute long horror walk-through attraction set up in London a few weeks ago. It seems as though Capcom won’t be letting the experience vanish forever just yet though, as they’ve released a short trailer showing off some of the terrifying, decrepit puzzle-filled rooms that made up the experience in more detail.
I must admit, the experience as a whole looks absolutely terrifying. Here’s hoping that we’ll end up getting a video detailing the full experience for those who didn’t get the chance to go or would like the ability to duck into the safety of a comments section whenever they like!
Resident Evil 7 is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam.
